HUGE PARKING LOT!
It’s spacious and easier to reach out. The parking lot is clean and well maintained. The price is reasonable given you are in Chicago downtown. However the main issue is with the reaching your car. You have to take multiple pictures of your parked car and the place around otherwise it gets confusing.
Saw rainbow today in the fountain itself. Couldn’t capture it though. But the tall fountain here is breathtaking it was do awesome that I forgot to take more pictures of the park itself
Nice garage conveniently located in downtown Chicago. Very pricey but can get a decent price if pre-booked online through a parking app such as SpotHero.
DO NOT PARK AT THIS GARAGE. The pipes leaked water with lime on my vehicle, and the lime residue permanently damaged my vehicle's paint. This is a well known issue as the garage was aware of what caused the issue immediately when I called to report the issue and suggested two different solutions to get the lime off. While I was able to get the lime off, the paint was permanently damaged as a result of the lime. The garage refuses to take responsibility for the repairs even though the garage's infrastructure itself caused the damage and it is a known issue at the garage. No warning was provided and no notice is posted near the leaking pipes to warn customers of the issue.
This place was very expensive to park $35 for 6 hours although we could have stayed another couple hours I felt it to be more expensive than it was worth. They want you to sometimes Park in places where people were parked behind you and then you have to wait for a valet to come and get your keys or their keys to move their car which takes who knows but probably way too long. Try to get in on the Michigan Avenue side 233 North Michigan and the doors were locked luckily We snuck in when a car pulled in or else we would have had to walk around the block to get in. There's plenty of Staff in the middle of the day but when we left at 7:00 there was not a soul to be found. You can pay when you were leaving right by the exit thankfully that was convenient and easy. I would go back again but I would go for the early bird special or you save a lot more money but you have to get there I think before 9:00.
I booked my space through SpotHero. Rates were reasonable, and it was easy to enter/exit the garage. I did have someone leave garbage on the roof of my car, and there was debris around my tires when I left, but my personal effects were undisturbed. I parked for two days. The elevator was convenient to pop in to grab things. There were plenty of spots available for the weekend. I would use this garage again.
There is a big reflective bean located close to this parking garage. I was on foot and never paid to park but this was a close garage.
We purchased the 4 day extended stay online. It was a very simple purchase, and much cheaper than daily valet parking through our hotel. The garage was pretty easy to find though we had to go around the block once, not expecting the center of the road entrance ramp.
We had some trouble getting our QR code to read from the phone to the red lighted space on the ticket machine, but just took a ticket and drove in. We found lots of parking on the lower level which we chose since we were mostly just parking and leaving it. The walk with our suitcases was easy and only 10 minutes. We used the elevator, which was kind of gross, but got the job done. No trouble at all and we felt quite safe.
Returning to the car was fine, though we skipped the elevator and just used the stairs. The color coding and letters and numbers system was very helpful to remembering where we parked. Everything was well lit. Car was good.
The employees we spoke with on our first and last days were very helpful and we were able to leave with no trouble.
We would definitely recommend to other tourists staying in the theater district of the Loop.
